November 2003 This year’s forum had something of the feel of a coming out party for business rules. There was a jump in attendance to 300 or so attendees and 30 or so sponsoring vendors. The business rules community has always seen rules as the ultimate approach to developing flexible enterprise systems and this year there was some evidence that the vision is becoming reality.
